Ilse started the firm to do one kind of work well: defending drivers charged after a stop.
Ilse has spent her career on drunk-driving and traffic cases, first as a public defender and then in private practice. She opened the Green Bay office with one desk and a fax machine and still takes the first call on many new cases herself.
She handles first and repeat charges, test refusals and cases with an injury, and tries more of the firm's cases to a jury than anyone else. Clients say she explains the worst case first, then the plan.
